A Mother’s Dream
After having my two boy’s and struggling through many disappointments in trying to have our 3rd baby, we were blessed with our little princess a dream come true! When I was younger I was always infatuated with the amazing birthday party’s little girls could have. The second I knew I was pregnant with Nina, I was so exited to plan the fun party’s, play dress up, buy all the frilly socks and exquisite dresses and the list went on. So, when it came to planning her first birthday, I knew it was going to be a bash to remember. The little girl I always dreamed of having was about to turn 1 and it was worth a huge celebration.
Planning this party I started with the thought of a winter wonderland party because the venue had Christmas trees up for the holidays. We rented the banquet room and hired a DJ since our family loves to dance! The centerpieces were mason jars that I covered in burlap and lace with tiny little pink bows to make it as dainty as possible. I made runners for the tables to add a mother touch of the burlap and lace and made centerpieces with pink and white flower arrangements. The party setting was an elegant afternoon, celebrating our little princess. From our dresses, to the cake smash, with all the special touches in between I knew Nina’s Birthdays from here on out would be every mothers dream
