Jessica’s 40th Birthday:
In growing up together, I knew the 40th birthday had to be a big bash! First it is questioning how is the 40th birthday here already, then I said to myself well lets make this one memorable. Timmy and I went to Hawaii for 3 weeks for our honeymoon, We literally cried when we had to ego home and we also contemplated moving there and just parking our life in a hut on the beach. Our life always is happiest when on the beach in the sun, listening to music so it was evident a LUAU would be the best way to ring n his 40th. front eh food, to the Authentic Hawaiian Dancers, fire dancers and luau dinner party it was a night to remember. I even secretly planned a dance for us to How Long Will I Love You by Ellie Goulding. I started planning this party with the thought of the luau and then the theme just unfolded from there, I made a back drop for the food are which turned into the entire room stocked with sushi, appetizers, MOJO pork a drink station, and dessert area. I catered some of it from publix and cooked the rest myself. I also set up a backdrop for pictures for our friends and family to enjoy, Palm tree pool flats which were fun at the end of the night and I placed individual orchids on each table as a center pice. I incorporated a few high boy tables for those who not want to sit down and it all flowed amazing from the minute our guests walked through the door until they left. Balloons added the final birthday touch and were great for the 40th photo ops, Tim had a blast he danced with the beautiful Hawaiian ladies and had a blast with friends and family. The joy I had in pulling this party off file day heart and made me so happy.
